Introduced at the 2003 World Watch and Jewelry Show in Basel as a response to the resounding success of the Twenty~4® collection, the ref. 4909/50 fills the increasing demand for Patek Philippe mechanical ladies watches.
Patek Philippe launched the original diamond set steel Twenty~4® in the summer of 1999 to mark the beginning of an exciting era for the brand. This model was followed in 2001 by the Haute Joaillerie Twenty~4® collection of entirely diamond set versions. This new Haute Joaillerie Small mechanical piece extends this range of contemporary yet elegant watches for the modern woman.
Available in 18K white or rose gold, this stunning fully paved watch is set with 1468 flawless Top Wesselton diamonds, totaling approximately 8.33 carats. The caseback, itself framed with 104 diamonds, features a sapphire crystal revealing the superb Patek Philippe manually wound caliber 16-250. Like all Patek Philippe mechanical movements, this movement is honored with the Geneva Seal, the highest official quality distinction in the watchmaking industry.
Functional yet stylish the hands and Roman numerals at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock come in black oxidized gold to ensure the time is easy to read whilst a diamond in the crown completes the piece.
The design and shape of the new Haute Joaillerie Twenty~4® Small reflects the original model – designed to fit in with every moment of the lives of busy women – but is set apart by the fully paved case, dial, bracelet and intricate mechanical movement to create an extremely desirable evening watch.
