Maxi Marine Chronograph

Ulysse Nardin unveils the Blue Seal Chronograph a complement to the existing Maxi Marine collection. A rugged all weather sports chronograph with a self-winding movement which records the seconds and minutes and can be put to zero instantly over two pushers. The case, with a screw-crown and screw-pushers, crafted in 18 ct rose gold or stainless steel, is water-resistant to 200 meters and fitted with an exhibition case back. Each case is individually numbered. Available on 18 ct rose gold bracelet, steel or rubber bracelet, or leather strap with folding buckle. The Blue Seal is limited to 999 pieces in 18 ct rose gold and 1846 pieces in stainless steel. The Blue Seal movement The non-moving metal parts of the movement have been treated with a stainless blue titanium based alloy (ion sputtering process). Where necessary, the metal parts have been reworked to accommodate the blue coating, the thickness of which is 1 micron with a hardness of 1500 HV. A see-through sapphire back offers a good view of this spectacular movement.
