EXCEPTIONAL
COUNTER-CLOCKWISE HAND SETTING MECHANISM TO SAFEGUARD THE MOVEMENT
An innovative and modern dial interpretation that breaks away
from traditional regulator styles. The blu Quartett highlights
a rhodium-plated watch face with an engine-turned finish that
is manufactured on separate levels. The long central seconds-hand
smartly taps out the seconds as it makes its way around the
dial. The hour sub-counter positioned at 12 o’clock comes doted
with Roman numerals at 3 and 9 o’clock.
A new three-dimensional retrograde minute indicator at 6 o’clock
forms an arc over the large date display. Raised at a 7° angle,
the minutes-hand jumps back to the zero position every hour
after completing its 120° trajectory. The final design detail
- deeply engraved minute indexes on the minute flange rim indicate
the passage of time in 10-minute increments.
An exceptional counter-clockwise hand-setting function: By turning
the crown anti-clockwise, the minutes-hand remains on the “0”
position while the hour hand continues to move backwards until
the desired time is reached. The precise minute position can
be set by turning the crown forwards. This simple operation
allows counter-clockwise time setting without modifying the
date or harming the movement.
