Vincent Calabrese wanted in an abstract way, to synthesize the essence of his philosophy of art and created a model illustrating his « Spirit ». The watch involves two arms that start at opposing points : one which carries the barrel - the energy, the creative, the ART. The other carries the escapement - the precision, the TECHNIQUE. The arms move in the same direction, where the hands of the watch represent the actual instant of time. However, Art & Technique can never meet in the present, they move away from each other towards infinity. This model, including the movement, is made in 18K gold or 950 platinum.
